Stilling:            Økonomielev i Bogholderi
Ansat siden:    November 2013

What did you do before?

During my education, I did an internship at Vibocold for a year. Afterwards, I worked as substitute teacher for a short period.

What are your primary tasks?

As a Financial Trainee in Bookkeeping, my primary tasks concern registration and bookkeeping tasks, e.g. registration of deposits from debtors etc. I am responsible for the Group’s Finnish subsidiary and each month, and I make sure that the accounts are ready for closure. I find this very interesting. Besides working together with my Danish colleagues in Bookkeeping and Settlement, I am also often in contact with the administrative employees in Finland.

I also do the daily follow-up on the liquidity overview, the monthly bank reconciliation and other ad hoc tasks. My day consists of routine work and a number of different tasks that varies from day to day.

What are your key strengths?

It is important that I am able to see the big picture and structure my work. On a daily and monthly basis, we have deadlines that must be respected in order to finish the accounts in time and most accurately. In my opinion, it is also important to be curious and outgoing in order to get new tasks.

Why do you like working at the Energi Danmark Group?

As a Trainee, it is a really good training where you get to be involved in many tasks and I feel that there is a high potential for professional development. You do not feel like a Trainee but instead on equal terms as the other employees.
