Energi Danmark Securities (EDS) has enjoyed yet another year with positive results, as the company achieved a profit before tax of DKK 17.7 million in 2015.

Over the last five years, the company has experienced a general increase in its gross profit, which is not least due to a strong influx of new customers in the Nordic region and most recently in Germany. The company's total portfolio volume grew by approximately 16% in Denmark in 2015, and EDS's portfolio concept is now strongly anchored in all the Nordic countries and starting to take shape in Germany.

In 2015, EDS upscaled its number of employees in line with the Group's continued expansion. Despite the new and substantially changed market conditions and squeezed margins, as well as increased personnel and operating costs, EDS expects to maintain the previous years' positive development in 2016, increase revenue and increase the company's portfolio volume by 15–20%. This will take place through continued anchoring of a larger international portfolio manager environment, and by focusing on product development and increased efficiency – in relation to both products and systems. EDS will also focus on minimising the risk to customers and in so doing ensure value creation for them.

For a number of years, Energi Danmark Securities has been awarded an AAA credit rating, which is the highest credit rating available based on Bisnode's credit rating system.
