Professional Handling of Electrical Heat Boiler at Brovst District Heating
Brovst District Heating is a medium-sized district heating plant with four employees. Besides two gas engines, the plant which supplies 1,300 consumers daily also has an electric heat boiler that is used for regulating power down. Ole K. Jensen has been Plant Manager since 2009. The way the electric heat boiler works is that Brovst District Heating puts the boiler at disposal in case of overproduction of electricity. The boiler allows Brovst Fjernvarme to use electricity from the market and thereby make an extra profit.
